What is Speakeasy?

Speakeasy brings together creatives to share their personal art, hobbies, and passion projects with the community.

In a world where everyone is a creative, this Speakeasy celebrates the artist in all of us. One can sign up to present or RSVP to attend in community and celebration.

Examples of past creative shares and presentations?

We encourage all forms of creativity and expression!

Some past presentations include art, dance, poetry, photography, fashion design, musical performance, even the design process of a custom motorcycle.

When and where is Speakeasy?

Our speakeasy showcase is a pop up hosted in secret locations.

How are presenters selected?

Presenters are selected by a committee considering order of sign up and diversity across applicants and presentations.

How long do presenters have the floor?

Presenters each have up to 5min.

Do presenters receive a stipend?

No, presenters are all volunteer.

What if I’m not selected to present this time?

Presenter submissions will stay in our database to be considered for future Speakeasy events.

Presentation guidelines?

Speakeasy is a safe space and will not accept presentations that are racist, sexist, homophobic, or discriminatory in any form.
